derek made a good comment about dave's spelling. As the grade 8 spelling champion at Glen Dhu Public School in Whitby ON, i personally feel offended by it.

also, i'm thirsty now. i'll check out what's in my fridge. ok, i got some soda, OJ, some purple stuff, Sunny D... SUNNY D! Yeah!!!

the show was fun last night, but it's always better to at least have 1 opening band. next week, that opening band will be a Barber Shop Quartet. and then the monday after that marks the return of my "dashboard tribute band" 'the sharp hint of new tears', cause it's valentine's day, and i'm the only single guy in the band. i've always been single on valentine's day... except for once, and that didn't end well at all.

lastly, 2 song lyrics stick out in my mind this week. from 'Pardon Me' by Incubus "a decade ago, i never thought i would be 23 on the verge of spontaneous combustion, woe is me" and from 'gangsta's paradise' by coolio "i'm 23 never will i live to see 24 the way things is goin' i don't know" it seems that a lot of people get famous by the time they're 23, or they don't get famous at all. i really hope i never turn 23.
